Fetal Monitoring
The BABY DOPPLEX® range of fetal monitors provides a
unique combination of options. Incorporating all the standard features
of conventional cardiotocographs (CTG’s), they provide the most
cost-effective and flexible approach to fetal monitoring.
The BD4000 is a full specification antepartum fetal monitor
(with upgrade facilities) for use in the hospital or clinic. It is a
robust and easy to use instrument, providing excellent FHR and
contractions tracking.
The unit can be used on a trolley, desktop, or wall-mount, depending
on requirements.

The incidence of twins is very low, typically less than 2%.
A dedicated twins unit can be costly and only used occasionally.
However BD4000 provides a unique solution by enabling 2 units
to be connected together when twins monitoring is required. (Intrapartum,
Antepartum or IUP). Both FHR traces are presented on one ‘unique no
compromise’ wide paper format to avoid confusion.

A unique trace annotation facility and a choice of chart paper options

In addition to the standard Antepartum facilities, the BD4002I
Intrapartum twins model monitors the FHR using the direct ECG method (FECG)
and has the capability to measure intra uterine pressure via a
re-useable or disposable pressure transducer.
