Color Persistence displays the maximum
flow velocity in real time. Doppler images
are assembled sequentially over a period
of acquisition set by the operator, so as to
produce a composite color image. Pulsa-
tile flow can thereby be better presented,
and delineation of the course of flow is
improved.
